Ms. Vivian Green, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday,  August 25, 2016 at approximately  6:00 p.m. at Lima Convalescent Home.

She was born on September 24, 1934 in Lima, Ohio to Sidney Leroy and Elsie Thelma (Rankin) Green; both parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Green graduated from Central High School and attended Bluffton University.  She retired from the Workers Compensation Bureau as a Claims Representative.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church where she served on the Kitchen Committee and was a member of the Missionary Society.  She loved to volunteer for any church affair and enjoyed sending people cards for any occasion, it gave her great joy!

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 nephews; Steven L. Haithcock, Sr. and Scott D. Haithcock both of Lima.  2 cousins;  Barbara A. Ward of Lima and Ann Owens of Columbus, OH.    A niece; Charlene Woodley (Norman) of Detroit, MI.  A brother-in-law; Harold L. “Larry” Haithcock of Lima.

She was preceded in death by a sister; Phyllis A. Haithcock.

Services will be held on Wednesday,  August 31, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. Second Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Ward, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time  of services, also at the church.

Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery
