Terri Lynn White

Ms. Terri Lynn White, age 64 passed from this life on June 28, 2022 at approximately 5:31 am, at her Residence in Lima, Ohio.

She was born on February 22, 1958, in Springfield, Ohio to the union of Johnnie and Lillie Mae (Owens) White, Sr.; both parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Terri was so loved, she loved dancing and talking to people all day lol. She also loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and talked to them every day.

Ms. Terri love Mothers Helping Mothers Inc., and all the teen mothers and children she loved on and worked with. Ms. Terri was the house mother at the shelter. And every chance she had she spoke on Mothers Helping Mothers to everyone. Ms.Terri also ran her daughter’s childcare center for 10 years, and obtained her CDA in 2019 she love children as well, and received teacher of the year award in 2016 at the same Childcare Center before bringing her passion to the elderly. Ms. Terri loved working at Wendy’s on Elida Road in Lima. She never let them throw out food she took it to elderly people in her area. Ms Terri love serving others.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 daughters; Dr. Cortesha Cowan (Mr. Adrian Cowan) of Atlanta Georgia and Mrs. Christian Lawrence (Mr. Jamie Lawrence) of Columbus, OH.  9 grandchildren; Ja’Aaron Cowan, Adrianna Cowan, Cortez Cowan, Darian Cowan, Terri’Onnia Riley, Ja’Onna Lawrence Demonie Lawrence, De’Shyne Lawrence, De’Marion Lawrence, 3 great grandchild; Jayden Cowan, Jayla Cowan, Amira White. 1 brother; Darrell S. White of Lima.  4 sisters; Stephanie L. Huggins, Cynthia R. White, Aleisaa M. White and Felita D. Jones (Dava) all of Lima. 4  specials friend; Charlene Sanders Lima Ohio and Ramona Kay Mercer Fort Lauderdale FL, Deborah “Nina” Daniels she passed away in November 2021 in Lima Ohio, and Arthur of Lima Ohio.  Three bonus children from her twin sister Sherri White Special Nephew Javen A. White two special nieces Teniea Thomas (Mike Thomas) Killeen, Texas LaTalia White. A special niece Shamile White of Lima Ohio, Two Godsons DeAverielle Daniels who passed away, and Terrence Dukes of Lima. A Goddaughter Sherry Pucel of Columbus, Ohio A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson De’Angel Lawrence, A brother; Johnnie White, Jr. and 4 sisters; Twin Sherri L. White, Naomi White, Elmer Jean Myers and Gwendolyn Hales-Woodson.

Home Going Services will be held,July 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lorenzo White, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on, July 10, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The family will be present from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment – Woodlawn Cemetery
