Stanley Gene Turner

Mr. Stanley Gene Turner, age 57, passed from this life on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at approximately 8:49 a.m.  at his residence in Lima.

He was born in Lima, Ohio on September 11, 1963 to the union of Jessie and Earlene (Nettles) Turner; both parents and 4 siblings: Bessie Brewer, Indie Lauden, Nancy Turner and Robert Turner death preceded him in death.

He was a member of One Church in Lima.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Devonta Turner of Lima.  2 daughters; Kiana Turner of Lima and Kimberly Thompson of Atlanta, GA.   4 grandchildren.  6 brothers; Lindsey Turner (Wenetta) of Cincinnati, OH.  Jessie Turner (Leah) of Columbus, OH.  David Turner (Glenda) and Larry Turner (Sharon) both of Lima.  Dennis Turner of Winter Garden, FL.  Richard Turner (Stacy) of Marietta, GA.  5 sisters; Ann Miles (Larry) and Betty Jo Turner both of Lima.  Beverly Mayes (Reginald) of Atlanta, GA, Odessa Mangum (John) and Jessie Bea Strong (Luther).  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He leaves a special friend; Anita Gaines.

Home going services will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at One Church with Bishop Darnell Williams, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the Church.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
