Obituary of Rickie Quandel Mills

Mr. Rickie Quandel Mills transitioned from this life on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Troy, OH.  He was born on October 23, 1970.  His father, Stanley E. Mills, Sr., preceded him in death.  His mother, Ilene Lavonne (Pettigrew) Mills, survives him in Lima, OH.

Rickie was a licensed landscaper.  He was an outstanding high school athletic at Lima Senior High School where he ran track.  In 1987 he held the State Record in his event.

Rickie leaves to cherish his precious memory 8 children:  Shavae L. (Stephen) Robinson of Columbus, OH; Taija R. Mills of Columbus, OH; Ricki Mills of SC; Sanyika Mills of Houston, TX; Quandel T. Mills of Lima, OH; Derrick Wilson of Lima, OH; Xavier Mills of SC; , Tavion Mills of Lima, OH. and 2 Special Bonus daughters:  Melia Dershem and Alexis White.    2 sisters:  Travica (Gabriel) Egbujor and Alicia Mills, both of Columbus, OH.  1 brother: Stanley T. (LaToya) Mills of Lima, OH.  14 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by a son, Davione Shears.

Home Going Services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Church Worldwide Ministries with Rev. Ronald Fails officiating.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
