Mary Jane Frances Hutchins

Ms. Mary Jane Frances Hutchins, age 75, passed from this life on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at approximately 3:10 p.m. at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.

MJ was born on April 2, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Arley E. and Loretta Jane (Jennings)  Owens, Sr.; both parents preceded her in death.

MJ was a graduate of Shawnee High School in 1964.  She retired from Shawnee Manor Nursing Home after 30 years.  MJ was well known for her baked beans and taking kids in as her own.  She enjoyed Bingo and spending time with her grandkids.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 sons; Thomas L. Hutchins, Jr. of Lima and Jerry Hutchins (Amanda) of Columbus, Ohio. 3 granddaughters, 6 grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter.  2 sisters; Alice Sullivan (Michael) of Baltimore, Ohio and Debra Hamilton (Danny) of Milwaukee, WI.  3 brothers;  Arley  (Audrey) Owens, Jr. of Reynoldsburg, Ohio.  Dale Owens (who cared for MJ) and John Owens both of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Mary Jane Frances Hutchins. A brother; Harley Owens, Sr. 2 sisters; Pamela Moncrief and Betty Jean Owens.

Home Going Services will be held, on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Julius Laws, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., the family will be present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  

Interment:   Woodlawn Cemetery
