Mary Jane Wright was born Sunday December 23, 1951 to the loving union of Linnie Mae Wright and L.C. Wright. Mary was a twin born six minutes earlier than her brother. She was the oldest of 12 siblings.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in her late teens. She attended New Morning Star Baptist Church in Lima, Ohio. Mary Jane had a beautiful singing voice. She use her gift in the Gospel choir. She truly believed in education and she inspired a lot of young men and women to further their education so they could better themselves throughout life.
Mary Jane was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend and aunt. She was loved by everyone that came across her bubbly personality. She was a woman with high values, morals and respect. Mary Jane taught her family to love, have dignity and most of all put God first. She had a special love and respect for Eric Freeman, that no man or woman could touch. Mary Jane Wright was a hard working woman employed in the medical field as a nurse. She loved her job, but was forced into early retirement in 2010 due to a battle with brain Cancer. Mary Jane was loved and she will be dearly missed. She departed this earth on Monday November 28, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julianne Wright; parents, Linnie Mae and L.C. Wright; Brothers, Melvin Wright and her twin Willie James Wright as well as a special nephew, Christopher Allen Shurelds.
Mary Jane leaves to cherish her loving memories sisters, Carolyn Horce (Jerry), Terasa Wright of Lima, Ohio, Shirley Jeanette Geary of Lawrenceville GA, Sherry Fields (Lloyd) of Jacksonville Florida, Gina Geary Of Arlington Texas; brothers, Gregory and Ronnie Wright of Lima, Ohio, Lincoln Geary of Arlington Texas, Victor Geary (Phelica) of Rockwell Texas; Three children, Lavette Wright, Tamanga Freeman, Arlanders Willis III along with 9 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
