Mary E Williams

Mary Earl Williams, age 72, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 9:28 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023. She was born in Inverness, Mississippi on August 14, 1950 to Wesley Smith Sr. and Ida Mae McGuire. Both parents preceded her death.

On January 28, 1967 she and James Lorenzo Williams were united in marriage. James survives in Lima, OH

Mary loved cooking, playing cards and bingo. She was a no-nonsense person who loved to talk trash. Mary loved her family very much. She enjoyed spending time with them and her grand-babies. Her presence will be greatly missed.  

Mary leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 sons: James L. (Chiquata) Williams Jr. and Rico D. Williams both of Lima, OH; 2 daughters: Jennifer L. (Scott) Shurelds and Alexis D. Sanders both of Lima, OH; 4 brothers: Willie (Jean) McGuire, Tommie L. Smith, Lonnie Smith and Ricky Smith all of Lima, OH; 2 sisters: Patricia A. (Robert) Wade and Regina Smith both of Lima, OH; 6 Grandchildren: Chivas Shurelds Sr., Leslie Shurelds, Nabrittany Williams, Elise Williams, Shelby Williams and Aaryion Manley all of Lima, OH ; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Chivas Shurelds Jr., Cashimere Shurelds, Elijah Alves, Reign Shurelds, Journey James and Neveah James all of Lima, OH;  special son, Hubert E. Hankins of Lima, OH; 2 special friends: Debra Little  and Rose Dillard both of Lima, OH along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Percy L. Williams; 4 great-grandchildren: Amyaha James, Lorenzo James, Calee Shurelds and Royce Johnson; 2 brothers: Wesley Smith Jr. and Larry L. Smith.

Services will be Officiated by Rev. Cleven Jones

A Repass will be held at the Bradfield Community Center.
