Mr. Marion “Bob” Harmon, III, age 79, passed from this life on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at approximately 8:06 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
He was born on May 23, 1941 in Russell County, Alabama to Marion and Millie (Battle) Harmon, Jr.; both parents preceded him in death.
He was married to Kathy Graham who survives in Lima.
Mr. Harmon retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the N.A.A.C.P.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons; Marion Harmon, IV of Muncie, IN and Carlos V. Harmon (Alicia) of Lima. 5 grandchildren; Jasmine McLaurin of Columbus, OH. Anton Hutchins, Marlon Hutchins, Marcel Hutchins all of Lima. Carlos V. Harmon, Jr. of Lima and 6 great-grandchildren. 2 brothers; Joe L. Harmon (Opal) of Lima and Curtis C. Harmon (Valarie) of Indianapolis, IN. A sister; Gladys M. Wright of Lima. A close friend; Marilyn Martin. Special sons; Scotty Ward of Huber Heights, OH. Doug Newsome and Ulice (Cordale) Tubais both of Lima. Derrick Irons of Reynoldsburg, OH, Eric Irons of Hilliard, OH. A special nephew; Adrain Hottie Harmon. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother; Wesley D. Harmon and a special son; Emanuel McDuffie.
Home going services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Inc. with Rev. P. R. Johnson, officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 10:00 am until time of services also at the Funeral Home.
