Macie Lee Reynolds

Mrs. Macie Lee Reynolds,  age 93, passed from this life on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at approximately 11:18 p.m. at her residence  in Lima, Ohio.

She was born on June 29, 1928  in Phenix City, Alabama to the union of Henessy and Henrietta (Nickerson) Jones; both parents preceded her in death.

On December 26, 1945 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. James C. Reynolds, Jr., he preceded her in death on January 21, 2000.

She was a member of Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Willing Workers and the Mass Choir.  She worked as a Cook at Hawthorne Hills for many years.

She  leaves to cherish her precious memory 6 daughters;  Linda A. Shepherd of El Paso, TX.  Barbara J. Glenn, Delores Reynolds, Margaret M. Reynolds-Green, Kathy M. Reynolds all of Lima. Louvenia Reynolds of Columbus, OH.  33 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Dorothy Mangrum.  3 sons; Manuel Reynolds, Willie J. Reynolds and Robert L. Reynolds. A sister; Ethel L. Glenn.

Home Going Services will be held Monday, October 18, at 12:00 p.m. at Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Bolling, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021  at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment:  Memorial Park Cemetery
