Julia "Polly" Haithcock

Mrs. Julia “Polly” Haithcock, age 87, passed from this life on Monday, March 1, 2021 at approximately 12:45 a.m.  at Shawnee Manor.

She was born on May 18, 1933 in East Chicago, Indiana to the union of Louis and Almeta (Murph) Harris, Sr.; both parents preceded her in death. 

On August 2, 1952 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Maurice I. Haithcock; he preceded her in death on August 12, 1985.

Mrs. Haithcock was a member of Second Baptist Church.  She was a member of the Chatter Box Club and the Silhouette Club. 

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 sons; Lance I. (Lillie) Haithcock of Lima.  Barton J. Haithcock of Columbus, OH.  6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  A sister; Lucile Moore of Springfield, OH.    A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Diane M. Williams. 1 granddaughter; Tennille Haithcock and 2 great-grandchildren.  A  brother; Louis Harris and a sister; Ethel L. Harris.

Home going services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Dr. Dennis Ward, officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services, also at the Funeral Home.

Interment -  Woodlawn Cemetery
