Jerry N. Jones

Mr. Jerry N. Jones, age 62, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at approximately 6:30 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center. 

He was born in Lima, Ohio on December 10, 1957  to the union of Willie Douglas and Doris Ann (Cook) Jones; both parents preceded him in death.

Jerry was a graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School; he loved football, basketball and talking about politics.  He family will always remember his big smile and how much he loved to talk about his children and grandchildren.  Jerry had a favorite number (804) that he always talked about because it the was the day his twin daughters were born; which is the day he passed from this earth.

He leaves to cherish is precious memory a lifelong companion, Linda Missler.  2 daughters; Shana Stiles and Shawna Stiles both of Lima, 5 grandchildren; Emicka, Elijah, Estela, Ariana and Colton.  3 brothers; Larry Douglas Jones and Dewayne Jones both of Lima.  Terry Lee Jones (Holly) of Atlanta, GA. A sister; Willie Ann Tisdale of Atlanta, GA.  Man’s best friend, his dog; Lil Mama.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter. 

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 12:00 noon at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home.
