Gloria Jean Moore

Gloria Jean Moore, age 67, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her residence in Lima, OH. 

Gloria was born on June 25, 1956 in Lima, OH to L.V. and Lovennia (Johnson) Roberson, Sr.  Both parents preceded her in death.

Gloria accepted Christ at a young age under the leadership of Pastor C.M. Manley.  She was a homemaker.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.  She loved her two dogs, “Guy” and “Tico”. Gloria is a graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School, class of 1974.  She received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sisters:  Rosa J. Luster of Dayton, OH; Glenda L. (James) Ford of Lima, OH; and Barbara A. (Michael) Downton of Lima, OH.  1 brother: Jackie (Diana) Roberson of Monroe, OH.  A host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by 2 sisters:  Mary Owens and Carrie Roberson-Upshaw and 1 brother:  L.V. Roberson, Jr.

Home Going Services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home with Dr. Rev. B. Lamont Monford Officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
