Ms. Desiree Terrell, age 65, passed from this life on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at approximately 8:10 p.m. at her residence in Lima.
She was born on March 11, 1955 in Selma, Alabama to Jesse James Edwards, Sr. and Mattie Edwards. Her father preceded her in death and her mother; Mattie Edwards Rogers also preceded her in death.
Ms. Terrell worked at Procter and Gamble. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Selma, Alabama.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her longtime companion; Michael Williams of Lima. 2 brothers; Jesse J. Edwards, Jr. of Selma, AL and Henry Edwards of Detroit, MI. 2 sisters; Betty Williams of Tempe, AZ and Jessie Goins (Melvin) of Lima. 4 nieces, Denise Odom, LeSeana Hines, Melissa Shine and Edcota Skinner. 3 nephews; Melvin Goins, Jr., Derrick Edwards and Andre Austin. A host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister; Hiawatha Carter Hunter.
Services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc
