Bobbie Jean Wilkerson

Bobbie Jean Wilkerson, age 70, passed from this life Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Ohio State Medical Center  in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born July 25, 1951  in Pittsview, Alabama.  The daughter of Eulia C. Hill and Joe N. Browder Jr.  Both are deceased.  Her stepfather James Hill is also deceased.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband James O. Wilkerson (Bubbles).

Bobbie  was a member of Eleventh St. Missionary Baptist Church, where she worked on the 5 Alive Committee and the Women’s Committee.  She was an employee of General Motors in Defiance, Ohio.

Bobbie leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 Sons:  Shawdale R. Wilkerson and Seddrick L. Wilkerson both of Lima Ohio.  6 Grandchildren.  Shayuana D. Wilkerson, Zayne I. Wilkerson, Braelyn R. Horn, Kearra S. K. Wilkerson, Trevon Shaffer and Reece Scott.   3 Sisters: Joanne Jacobs of Lima Ohio.  Catherine Brown and Shirleen Upshaw of Pittsview, Alabama.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in the death by a sister:  Bobbie Cooper.

Services will be Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Eleventh St. Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Bolden, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 4:00pm until 8:00pm  with the family present 6:00 pm 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Interment – Woodlawn Cemetery
