Benjamin Laws Jr.

Benjamin Laws Jr. age 70 went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 5, 2023. He was born on August 5, 1952 in Lima, Ohio to Benjamin Laws Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth (Pinn) Laws. Both parents preceded him in death.   

Benjamin was a faithful member of Only Believe Ministries. He was also a former owner of Christian Rock. He was a man of multiple talents. He was an innovator, author, entrepreneur and a great storyteller. He was recognized in the Wall Street Journal for his outstanding sales in automobile industry for gross sales within a year. He was debonair and had a swagger when it came to fashion and style. Benjamin was certain to stand out from the crowd and stood in a class all by himself. He was kind and loving, but was able to get his point across, if need be. He would often tell you what you needed to hear, as opposed to what you wanted to hear. He had passion and his passion was his son Christian, whom he loved dearly. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him most.

Benjamin leaves to cherish his precious memory a daughter, NaShay (Chris) Walker-Wilson of Cincinnati, OH; 3 brothers: William H. (Majorie) Laws of Chicago, IL, Jerry L. (Della) Laws and Rev. Julius Laws both of Lima, OH; 7 sisters: Faye Thompson of Lima, OH, Min. Janice S. Cage of Florence, AL, Joyce Laws, Mildred D. (James) Wall and Kimberly Laws, LaKesha Laws and LaTrisha (Erick) Alexander all of Lima, OH; 2 grandchildren, Londyn and Imani along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christian M. Laws; 2 brothers, Allen J. Laws and Anthony R. Laws; 2 sisters, Audrey Hall and Wanda J. Laws; 3 brother in-laws, Benjamin Thompson, Minister Titus Cage Sr. and Fred Hall Sr.

Services will be Officiated by Rev. Julius Laws.
