Mrs. Willie Ann McNeal, age 72, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at approximately 8:10 a.m. at Lima Rehabilitation Center in Lima.
She was born on May 18, 1945 in Eufaula, Alabama to Raymond Williams and Ethel Lee Dennard; both parents preceded her in death.
She was united in holy matrimony in June 25, 1977 to Mr. Lillice Eugene McNeal; he survives in Lima.
Mrs. McNeal was the owner of Ann’s Barb-B-Que Pit, Nick’s Market, Charlie G’s Grocery Store and Jeneals’ Trucking. She was a member of New Beginnings Ministry Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, served on the usher board and the Missionary Society. She was also a former member of Second Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served on the usher board.
Besides her loving husband Lillice, she leaves to cherish her precious memory; 7 sons; Lonzo T. Dennard (Carolyn, of Lima, Rev. Kennedy Dennard, Sr. (Stephanie) of Ontario, OH. Mack Williams (Tiffany) of Dothan, AL. Benny McNeal of Columbus, OH. Jerome McNeal, Jeremy McNeal and Ronald McNeal all of Lima. 3 daughters; Lisa McNeal of Dothan, AL. Teresa McNeal of Cleveland, OH and Dominique McNeal of Dayton, OH. A daughter-in-law; Weldeana McNeal of Lima. 36 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
3 brothers; Arthur G. Dennard (Bessie) and Bill Dennard (Thelma) both of Eufaula, AL. Johnny R. Dennard, Sr. of Lima. 2 sisters; Ruth Dennard Screws and Ethel L. Thomas (Larry) both of Louisville, KY. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son; Billy McNeal, a sister; Emma Felton and twin brother Willie who died in infancy.
Services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Joiner, officiating.
Visitation/Wake will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery
