Michael R. Mayes

            Mr. Michael R.  Mayes, age 35, passed from this life on Thursday, November 18, 2019 at approximately 12:27 p.m. at St. Rita’s     Medical Center in Lima.

He was born on March 8, 1984 in Lima, Ohio to Lisa Mayes, his mother preceded him in death.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Jr. Usher Board.

He  leaves to cherish his precious memory his fiancée; Shanetta Bagley of Lima.  6 daughters; Mionaca, Mionacie, Mariona, Marliona, Malonnie and Michael. 2 brothers; Erwin Mayes of Birmingham, AL and Hikeem Mayes (Heather) of Lima.  A sister; Deniyah Spencer of Birmingham, AL. Uncle;  Reginald R. Mayes, Sr. (Beverly) of LIma. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

            He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Mary Mayes.

Home Going Services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at  the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with  Rev. Hayes Cowan, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.
