Keona LaShay Madlock, age 20, passed from this life on Monday, March 13, 2017 at approximately 4:30 p.m.

She was born in Lima, Ohio  to Quanisha L. Johnson and Eric T. Madlock; both parents survive in Lima.

She was employed by KMI.  Keona graduated from Elida High School in 2014.  She was a former Perry Commodore where she played both basketball and soccer. Later she received her certification as an STNA while working with Cridersville Health Center from 2015 thru 2017.

Besides her loving parents she leaves to cherish her precious memory a special Sister; Heaven Simpson of Lima.  Her favorite cousins; Ranisha Johnson,  Raheem Johnson and DeShun Johnson .  Her Friend; Malik Talbert.  Her favorite uncle; Robert L. Johnson.  Maternal grandmother; Diane Johnson of Lima.  Paternal grandparents; Elizabeth Madlock and Allen Madlock of Lima.  Her Godmother:  Tamara Rochester.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather; Frederick Wiggins.  Maternal great grandmother; Bessie Brown and paternal great grandmother; Bessie Holmes.

Home going services will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Arnold Manley, officiating.

Visitation/wake services will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
