Mr. Karl Gene Stewart, age 53, passed from this life on Friday March 3, 2017 at approximately 10:36 a.m. at his residence in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born in Lima, Ohio  to the union of Frank and Lillie Catherine (Ramey) Stewart; both parents  preceded him in death. 

Karl formerly worked at United Dairy Farmers, Super Duper Grocery, and Montgomery Ward. He attended Rhodes State College and loved his Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved his sisters, nieces, nephews  and his great nieces and great nephews as well.  He  was always pleasant to be around.  Karl enjoyed singing and played in the Lima Senior Marching Band where he graduated in 1983.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 4 sisters; Linda D. Yarbrough (Willie), Darlena K. Stewart (Glenn),  (His twin) Karol J. Stewart all of Lima, Ohio. Teresa  A Stewart of Cleveland, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Antonio L. Stewart and Gregory D. Stewart.  A sister; Tonya E. Stewart.

Services will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones Clark Funeral Home, with Min. Elaine Watkins, officiating.

Visitation Wake Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. until  time of services at 1:00 p.m.
