Mr. Joseph Lee Glenn, age 82, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at approximately 6:51 a.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born on February 10, 1936 in Seale, Alabama to the union of Eddie and Mary (Watkins) Glenn, Sr.; both parents are deceased.
In May of 1957 he was united in holy matrimony to Ruthie Mae Lindsey who survives in Lima.
Mr. Glenn retired from Excello Corporation; he also worked at Goodwill Industries and Vistron. He was a member of Living Faith Church and U.A.W. Local 1211. He loved to cook and gardening. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart.
Besides his loving wife, Ruthie he leaves to cherish his precious memory 6 sons; Ronald L. Glenn, Dr. Derry L. Glenn (Judith), Duran Glenn, Rodriel Glenn, Altrovise Glenn and Aaron T. Glenn all of Lima. 2 daughters; Carol R. James (Jerry) and Joann Glenn both of Lima. 25 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. A Sister in Law: Ann Lindsey of Cincinnati, Ohio. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Special Niece: Rosebud Glenn of Lima. 4 children of the heart; Wayne Tally, Sabrina Matthews, Taveda Matthews and Grant Bowers.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons; Ricky A. Glenn and Demetrius Glenn. A Daughter: Bridgett Glenn. 4 brothers; Timothy Glenn, Ike Glenn, Robert Glenn and Eddie Glen, Jr. 6 sisters; Evelenna Glenn, Lila Mae Taylor, Mamie Bush, Sandy Pearl Glenn, Callie Upshaw and Mattie Avery. A brother in Law: Jimmie Lee Liles Sr.

Services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 1:00pm at Eleventh St. Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Robert Tony officiating.
Visitation/Wake will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
