Dasmine Dashawn Omosikeji, age 16, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born on February 16, 2001 in Chicago, Illinois to Jolade Omosikeji and Latonya Catrice Funches. His mother survives in Lima and his father survives in Chicago, IL.
He attended West elementary school and was a sophomore at Lima Senior High School. He enjoyed boxing at local boxing clubs and just started boxing at the Southside Spartans with coach Lonnie as his trainer. He loved being with family & friends cracking jokes, playing video rapping & his music. He loved most sports including basketball and football. He was a well-known young man, loving and had big dreams in life to make it big. He wanted so much out of life and it was cut short. He will be missed by all.
Besides his loving parents he leaves to cherish his precious memory 10 brothers; Keith, Curtis, Derrick, Cordale, Rhey, Jolade, Karl, Antonio, Paris and Airion. 7 sisters; Jasmine, Sherelle, Porsha, Jala, Ivana, A’niya & Joliyah. 3 aunts; Lewanist, Lasheva & Shamice; 6 uncles; Lewis, Larnell, Lonnie, Stephone, Steve & Alex. A special friend; Kea’lond Fuqua, his favorite cousin Alicia Guice and a host of other relatives and friends. Maternal grandmother; Carrie Funches of Lima. Maternal great grandmother; Ceola Wilson of Chicago, IL. Paternal Grand-father; Reggie Omosikeji.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grand-father; Lewis Funches and Maternal great grandfather; M.C. Wilson. Paternal grandmother Betty Omosikeji. Sister; Alicia Omosikeji.
