Annie Louise Owens

Mrs. Annie Louise Owens, age 85, passed from this life on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at approximately 4:03 p.m. at her residence in Lima surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on June 10, 1932 in Greenwood, Mississippi to the union of Robert and Lovie (Hansbrough) Carthon; both parents preceded her in death.

She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Hawthorne C. Owens; he preceded her in death on September 12, 2009.

Mrs. Owens retired from Ford Motor Company; she was a member of the U.A.W. Local #1219.  She loved listening to music and enjoyed every minute with her family around her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 4 sons;  Lenon Collins, Michael Pinn and Ricky Collins (Kim) all of Lima.  Jerry  Pinn of Toledo, OH.  2 daughters;  Barbara Bulls (Billy) and Martha Pinn both of Lima. 2 stepsons; Robert Folk of Lima and Pleasure Singleton of Chicago, IL.  A stepdaughter; Mindy McDaniels of Hillsborough, AL.  16 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 24 great-great grandchildren.  A special grandson; Anthony J. Pinn  (Shea).  A devoted niece: Linda Polk and 2 special granddaughters; Rea and Fikie  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons; James Collins and Thomas Pinn.  A daughter; Shirley Pinn-Walker.  3 sisters; Sharon Carthon, Stella Polk and Evelyn Daniels.  A brother; Earnest Greer.

Services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Julius Laws,  officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the Church.

Interment:  Memorial Park Cemetery
