Mrs. Mona Lisa Wright, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at approximately 11:33 a.m. at Cridersville Healthcare in Cridersville, Ohio.

She was born on August 31, 1960 in Canton, Mississippi to the union of John C. and Tecora (Williams) Brooks, Jr.; her father is deceased and her mother survives in Canton, Mississippi.

On July 27, 1984 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Lawrence E. Wright; he survives in Lima.

Mrs. Wright was a Homemaker and a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir.  She loved getting on her computer, cooking and reading her Bible.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 daughters; TiLithia Wright and Marquita Jones both of Canton, MS.  4 grandchildren; Mackalyn, Dellrika, Traniece and Zurreigh.  6 brothers;  WK Williams (Sandra) of Virginia.  James Williams (Dorothy), Carl Brooks, Wallace Brooks all of Canton, MS.  Willie Brooks of Jackson, MS.  Torrance Brooks (Marva) of Austin, TX.  5 sisters;  Linda Brooks of Chicago, IL.  Dorothy Thompson of Sharon, MS.  Loretta Smith (Michael) of Austell, GA.  Donna Stevens (Johnny) of Canton, MS and Tangya Martin (Jon) of Moreno Valley, CA.

She was preceded in death by a brother; Archie Lee Williams and a sister; Jennifer Brooks.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the family present 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment  -  Rising Chapel Cemetery in Canton, Mississippi.
