Maurio Anson Musgrove, Sr., age 48, passed from this life on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at approximately 1:52 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

He was born on February 2, 1969 in Lima, Ohio to the union of William Anson and Patricia Ann (Fields) Musgrove.  His father is deceased and his mother survives in Lima.

Maurio was a 1987 Graduate of Bath High School having participated in football, basketball, baseball and track.

Besides his loving mother he leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Maurio A. Musgrove, II of Lima and a daughter; Ashleigh R. Musgrove of Washington, DC.  2 brothers; JoVan Durr and Tory Pitts both of Lima.  A sister; Shawnda K. Leavell (Leon) of Columbus, OH.  Godmother; Vida M. Powell of Columbus, OH.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Eldridge and Fannie Fields.  Paternal grandparents; Charles and Hazel Warren.

Home going services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Mount Olivet Church of God in Christ, with Elder Clarence McGriff, officiating.

Visitation/wake services will be held on Tuesday, May  30, 2017 at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
