Mr. Johnnie Lee Smith, III, age 36, passed from this life on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at approximately 7:34 p.m. at his residence in Goodyear, Arizona.

He was born in Lima, Ohio  to the union of Johnnie Lee and Carol Jean (Morris) Smith, Jr.  His mother survives in Goodyear, Arizona and his father survive in Dayton, Ohio.

Johnnie was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a self-employed  repair man. 

Besides his loving parents he leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Jaden Smith of Cleveland, Ohio and a daughter; Tatiana Smith of Phoenix, Arizona. His Maternal Grandfather Robert E. Morris (Junitha) of Lima.  A Maternal Step Grandfather:  Edward Hobbs Sr. of Lima.  A Paternal Grandmother:  Ollie Smith of Dayton, Ohio. 4 brothers;  Terrill Smith of Phoenix, Arizona, Laron Johnson (Charmaine) of Lima.  Markesse Smith and Malik Smith both of Dayton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother Tommie A. Hobbs, A Paternal Grandfather Johnnie L. Smith Sr. A Paternal Great Grandmother:  Mary Coleman and an Aunt Linda Williams.

Homegoing Services will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Jones Clark Funeral Home, with Rev. Victor Watts, officiating.

Visitation/wake services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
