Mr. Edward Eugene Henry, III, age 29, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

He was born on April 24, 1987 in Detroit, Michigan to Edward Moultrie and Felicia M. Henry.   His father survives in Westland, MI and his mother and step father Randall Stribling survive in Lima.

On April 4, 2012 he was united in holy matrimony to Darlene (Russell) Henry, she survives in Lima.

Mr. Henry worked at Allen County Pallet.  He attended Philippian Missionary Baptist Church.  He loved playing basketball and caring and taking care of his family. He would always hug you if he saw you to ask how you were.

Besides his loving wife Darlene he leaves to cherish his memory 2 sons;  Se’on Henry and Edward Henry, IV both of Lima.  4 step-children; Khailio Youngblood, Cash R. Russell, Shapria Daniel and Bradell Youngblood.  A brother;  Marcus Henry (Lisa) of Cleveland.  Sister; Faith Henry of Lima.  Stepsister; Brand Striblin of Detroit, MI. Maternal grandmother; Jewell Henry of Lima.  Paternal grandmother; Patricia Moultrie of Westland, MI.  A niece; Skye Whitefield.  A close friend of the family; Arlicia Knuckles. 

Services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. C. M. Manley, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016  until time of services also at the church.
