Ms. Dollie Ann Cesario, age 73, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at approximately 9:30 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born on November 16, 1942 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Johnnie M. and Charlie M. (Ward) Cook both her parents preceded her in death.  Her step-mother; Harriett R. Carlisle Cook survives in Lima.

Ms. Cesario was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness West Congregation in Lima.  She was baptized April 18, 1987.

Ms. Cesario retired in 2004 as a correctional officer from Lima Correctional Institute.  She was honored as the Lima Correctional Institute officer of the year in 2002 by the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections.  Ms. Cesario also worked part time for Mary Ann Brown for 16 years and Champaign Residential Services until 2005.  She previously worked at Clyde Evans for 7 years and 13 years at the Monsanto Plant.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 brothers; David M. Cook of Lima  and Michael H. Cook (Rene)  of Atlanta, Georgia.   A sister; Debra A. Cook-Tibbs of Lima.  2 brothers-in law;  Edd Shine and Mark Pitts both of Lima.   A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Princess L. Cook.  Brother; Leonard J. Cook and 2 sisters; Johnnie (Deanie) Shine and Barbara J. Pitts.  A sister-in-law; Denise Cook.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Elder Collin Deitsch, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.

Interment – Woodlawn Cemetery
