Mrs. Bernice Dramani, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 19, 2016 at approximately 9:20 a.m. at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
She was born on August 22, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Alfred P. Conyers, and Ruth Wyatt; both parents preceded her in death.
On March 2, 1993 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Ahmed Dramani who resides in New York, NY.
Mrs. Dramani was a graduate of Lima Senior High School. After graduation she moved to New York where she was employed at New York Bell. She pursued a teaching degree and eventually became a Drug Addiction Counselor. After retirement she did what she enjoyed the most, taking care of people, especially children.
Besides her loving husband Ahmed, she leaves to cherish her precious memory her great nephew who she raised as her son; Khalil Woodley (Amoy Pitters) of Hackensack, New, Jersey. 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A brother; Robert Conyers (Henrietta) of Cincinnati, Ohio. 2 sisters; Irma Jean Ivey of Auburn Hills, Michigan and Cassandra “Penny” Conyers Thompson (Bobby) of Lima.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Alfred Conyers, Jr. and John Conyers. A sister; Betty Jackson. Also preceding her in death was Debbie Rowley who she raised as a daughter and her step-son David McFadden.
Services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Cleven Jones, officiating.
