Mrs. Barbara Callahan, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at approximately 7:40 a.m. at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.

She was born on January 26, 1956 in Florence, Alabama to the union of Samuel and Rose Lee (Southern) Williams; both parents preceded her in death.

On June 25, 1984 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Carlos Racine Callahan; he preceded her in death on December 27, 2016.

Mrs. Callahan worked at Lima Memorial Hospital for 37 years as the coordinator of Mobile Meals.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board.  She loved music and singing.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Taj M. Callahan (Brittiney) of Lima.  2 daughters; Sarita Arrone (Lamont) of Dayton, OH and Takisha L. Washington of Columbus, Ohio.  8  grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  2 brothers; Johnny Williams and Samuel E. Williams both of Lima.  2 sisters: Jolee Coffey of Huntsville, AL and Aderis Cole of Muscle Shoals, AL.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Andrea Barnett.  2 brothers; Perry Williams and Robert Williams.

Services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Austin E. Lewis, Jr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held at 10:00 a.m. until time of the services also at the Funeral Home.

Interment - Woodlawn Cemetery
