Mrs. Arletha Lucille Williamson, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at approximately 11:35 a.m. at Richland Manor Nursing Home in Bluffton, Ohio.

Mrs. Williamson was born on May 22, 1934 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Samuel C. and Lois C. (Banks) Ward; both parents preceded her in death.

On August 16, 1952 she was united in holy matrimony to Elder John L. Williamson, who preceded her in death on February 8, 2013.

Mrs. Williamson was a Homemaker and a member of Greater Christ Temple where she was a Sunday School Teacher, Minister, member of the Choir, Past Assistant President of the Missionary Society, Outreach Ministry and was the Church Musician for many years.  Mrs. Williamson was a cherished personality and was loved by all who met her.  Her nickname was Mama Lucy.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sons; Tyson L. Williams (Rhoda), Victor L. Williamson (Delores) and Curtis A. Williamson all of Lima.  16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.  2 brothers; Paul J. Ward and Leonard F. Ward both of Lima.  2 sisters;  Dorothy E. Henderson of Lima and Rose C. Johnson of Cleveland, OH.

She was preceded in death by a son; Randy Williamson, a grandson; Brian W. Williamson a sister; Hattie M. Littleton and a brother; Samuel D. Ward.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Greater Christ Temple with District Elder Michael Cooper, Sr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake will held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. also at the Church.
